Located in the quiet commune of Vers, south of Viry, along a main road, D992, direction Frangy, in Haute-Savoie, France
Progress was made last Fall. Brick walls to the next floor went up. But then we found it necessary to modify plans. The architecht has been working on this through the winter. The cement floor of the next level will be poured this Spring. Then the roof will go on, followed by windows and doors.
There's much to do in the interior of the building this Summer and Fall. If adequate donations arrive and the work advances as planned, we now hope to move during December 2010. Some 550,000 Euros are yet needed to entirely finish the building.
When completed, there will be adequate space for radio programme production and live studios, offices, electronic and mechanical maintenance shops, storage and a 100 mē residence for the operations supervisor. The basement, main and upper floors each will have 300 mē, 900 mē total.
Yet to be completed, studio walls, windows and doors, sound proofing, lighting, heating, plumbing, electrical, parking, equipment installation.
This project is pay-as-we-go. No bank loan is possible. Time is short. Your gifts and loans are urgently needed and greatly appreciated.
