2010 pledge campaign
RADIO 74 operates
year-after-year thanks to tremendous public good will, and the voluntary cash contributions
from individual listeners and families. This station is
essentially non-commercial, independent, not controlled or financed by any particular church,
religious, philosophical or political organization, or by the State.
This is a labour of love. Our staff
is composed of some
100 volunteers, organized
into teams, most of whom work from home. All management personnel
and the board of directors serve without remuneration of any kind.
In 2010, three people will receive
modest salaries.
Listeners remain our principal financial resource (80+%).

RADIO 74 Budget for 2010
Austerity budget:

Normal operations: 270,000 Euros (about
400,000 Swiss francs)
2010 Revised Building fund: Total of 1,000,000 Euros (about
1,500,000 Swiss francs)
of which some 500,000 Euros has been received. This leaves
500,000 Euros to go.

How much
should I send ?
To keep RADIO 74 going during
2010
,
at least 400 listeners
are needed, contributing on average
30 Euros (about CHF
50) per month.
Some listeners send CHF 74, 100 or 200 per month. Or 50
or 100 Euros per month.
Some send less, others more. There is no fixed amount, and no membership fee. Your gifts
of any size are gratefully
received and wisely managed.
You will automatically be placed on our mailing list to receive
the NEWSLETTRE at most 2 to 3 times a year.

Suggestion
Give RADIO 74 just "two minutes" of your time. Calculate how much
you earn working during 2 minutes each day. Send this small amount
to RADIO 74 each pay day. It's a tiny amount, but gives a
tremendous boost to the station.

send you pre-printed "pink slips". E-mail or telephone the
station. Pre-printed "pink slips" can be used to donate either
from the post or at a bank. Never send cash in
an envelop. It's illegal and could get lost.
