RADIO 74 operates
thanks to public good will, and by voluntary cash contributions from
individual listeners and families. 80% of our financial
resources comes from listeners. A small amount comes from
commercial advertising and some years a French State subsidy.
The station is
essentially non-commercial, independent, and not controlled or financed by any particular church,
religious, philosophical or political organization, or by the State.
This is a labour of love. Our staff
is composed of some
100 volunteers, organized
into teams, most of whom work from home. All management personnel
and the board of directors serve without remuneration of any kind.
In 2012, only three of our staff are receiving
salaries, little above a minimum French wage.

How much
should I send ?
To keep RADIO 74 operating during
2012
,
at least 400 listeners
are needed, contributing on average
42 Euros (about CHF
50) per month.
Some listeners send CHF 74, 100 or 200 per month. Or 50
or 100 Euros per month.
Some send less, others more. There is no fixed amount, and
no memberships. Your gifts
of any size are gratefully
received and wisely managed.
You will receive
the NEWSLETTRE at most 2 or 3 times a year.
Larger donations to the building fund
above 3300 Euros or 5000 Swiss Francs per year

Where and How to send
donations
In Switzerland and from other non-EU
countries
In Switzerland, "Home
and Family Life" Association is mandated by RADIO 74 to collect
donations for it and to faithfully transmit the full amount to the
station.
Donations are
generally limited to 5,000 Swiss Francs per year per person.
Larger amounts should be sent through "Les Amis de RADIO 74"
(Friends of RADIO 74) in France.
